It keeps me busy....and HAPPY!!!! ;-)Katie Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14957978754744226499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-91592726009454245422011-08-19T12:22:27.064-07:002011-08-19T12:22:27.064-07:00You have a "need-to-review" pile? And a variety of others. Oh my, it's almost comical. :P :)Charity Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02717998337967392912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-41456185214564513952011-08-19T11:39:55.788-07:002011-08-19T11:39:55.788-07:00Charity - Okay, neat! I'll try to remember to post a review of First Light when I read and finish it, as well as these other two series, when I get 'em. :-D

Haha! Ya, I know what you mean. Any book that I purchase or win in a giveaway goes into that pile - I've gotta get through the books that NEED reviews posted asap.:-)Katie Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14957978754744226499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-47680640823134958482011-08-19T11:22:16.779-07:002011-08-19T11:22:16.779-07:00Yes, the Covenant series comes before the Chronicl...Yes, the Covenant series comes before the Chronicles. Reading the Chronicles first, though, didn't ruin it at all! I think it made me more alert when one of the characters who's primary in them came up as a minor character in the Covenant. :)

I know, isn't it awesome to "talk books?" Especially when you both love (or hate) them. ;)

I would love to hear what you think of these when you finally read them!

My reviews may be a little while in coming...They're my "filler books" right now, so I only read them when out of anything else. :)Charity Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02717998337967392912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-42343926679366225122011-08-16T09:06:20.888-07:002011-08-16T09:06:20.888-07:00Charity - Cool! So the Zion Covenant series comes first? Is it important to read them in order, do you think. You read the Chronicles first - did that ruin the Covenant series for you?

I'm really interested in this series. As I mentioned, I've become really intrigued about WWII from books like this one and Sarah Sundin's series. I will definitely have to look up these two Zion series!! :-D

Awesome! I love talkin' books, too. It's SOOOO much fun to rant and rave over books you love! :-D

I'll be on the lookout for reviews on the Theone books!Katie Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14957978754744226499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-72456571789968836822011-08-16T08:36:16.389-07:002011-08-16T08:36:16.389-07:00Her A.D. series is also very good! I've read all but the newest one, and enjoyed them a lot. :) They are very good!

I read the Zion Chronicles first and they're still my favorites. The Zion Covenant is cool because some of the characters you meet (and love) in Chronicles are first introduced in Covenant. What you kinda want to do is read both series enough times that you know who each person is when you encounter them in other books. That's one of the cool things here...they're all kinda tied together. Each series includes a few characters from the other, which is so fun!

Incidentally, I just finished (well, last month) reading "Twilight of Courage," which is a gigantic book that fits between the two series.

Also, there is another series concerning the characters, but I can't recall what it's named, and I didn't enjoy it as much.

FYI, there are five Chronicles books and at least six, maybe eight Covenant books. (I discovered 7 and 8 online the other day, but am not sure if they were correctly labeled, as being in the Covenant series).

Ah, I am passionate about these books. :)Reading the second Chronicle right now, between other books. I'll review it soon, hopefully.Charity Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02717998337967392912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-2380951443176400542011-08-16T07:22:49.621-07:002011-08-16T07:22:49.621-07:00Charity - I've never read anything by Bodie Th...Charity - I've never read anything by Bodie Thoene, but I discovered her work not too long ago. I just recently ordered the first book in her A.D. series - First Light, I think is what it's called. I look forward to reading it. All their books seem really good! :-)

I saw the Zion Chronicles and Zion Covenant and am VERY interested in reading them! Which series would you recommend I read first? Chronicles or Covenant? She's a favorite author of mine. :) I like the Chronicles best.Charity Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02717998337967392912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2427030702595513158.post-89786419401247487142011-08-15T13:01:47.780-07:002011-08-15T13:01:47.780-07:00Charity - Wonderful!
